FUN WITH FAMILY OR FRIENDS

A Road Rally!

With the holidays and visiting family and friends, here's a great afternoon of fun and city sightseeing. Give one clue at a time. Take a Thomas Map with you (use the index). At each location, participate in some activity. Collect a treasure, e. g. an admission stub, photo, etc. End the Rally with a meal or holiday party and share stories and
pictures of your adventure.

Note to planners: see location answers and Thomas Map grid information inside. Second clues are suggested for a younger group. But have some extra fun and make your own.

CLUES TO LOCATIONS

1 In 1542 when he sailed the ocean blue he docked on this rock or a place that promises a whale of a view

2 These wooden steeds, they twirl near others from round the world or up and down and round and round near the beginning of the famous safari

3 Not Serra Mesa, but it's name sake's first jewel in a necklace of 21, or Tom Cruise wouldn't find it impossible

4 Fish bowl called a tree or There's no Shamu, but what a view!

5 A wild ride at a "pretty mountain" park or one of San Diego's two rail Coasters

6 Horton's reject or Tortilla Flats

Send me an e-mail and let me know how it went.
